Here is another activity I have used recently in one of my lessons. I spend considerable time in the lesson working on seconds and thirds going forwards and backwards commencing at any note. I feel that it is important to work on the musical alphabet both vertically and horizontally. In this activity I am reinforcing the way the notes are written in a vertical position. The frogs are line notes and the crocodiles are space notes.
