1891 Census Alfred T(?) Taylor, aged 21 years old is living with his parents in St Pancras. He is a pianoforte maker. His father Thomas Taylor is a cattle drover.

The above is the only close reference I can find to Alfred Taylor pianoforte manufacturer.

1846 Post Office London Directory. There is a Joseph Taylor, pianoforte key maker.

1851 Census In this census there is a Henry A Taylor, aged 30 years old working as a journeyman pianoforte maker.

1881 Census There is an Albert Taylor, aged 35 years old, in the 1881 Census living in Islington working as a pianoforte maker. He and his wife Elizabeth have six children, of whom 5 are boys, ranging from 11 years to 5 months. Their names are Alfred, Joseph, Arthur, Walter, Priscilla and Frederick.

1891 Census In this Census Alfred Taylor, aged 45 years old, and his wife Elizabeth are living in Islington. He is working as a pianoforte maker. None of the children that are living at home are working in the pianoforte making industry.

1901 Census Alfred Taylor, aged 56 years old, and his wife Elizabeth are living in Islington. He is now working as a pianoforte part maker.

1911 Census Alfred Taylor is in the Islington Workhouse.
