Considering that Easter is nearly upon us (our Prime Minister has said that the Easter Bunny is an essential worker), I am showing you a teaching aid that helps to reinforce the use of signpost notes as well as second and thirds.
As always with any of these teaching aids, you must ensure that the completed activity is used in relation to the piano. Often the position of the signpost notes must be reinforced by reminding the pupil of where they are in relation to middle C. It is important to know that a particular notes is, for example signpost G, however it is of more importance to know its position on the piano and the use of seconds and thirds from it, either higher or lower.
